New: split view, up to four channels at once

The Slack alternative for the agentic era.

Humans and agents, working side by side.

Terminal
~/api $

It is live. Pick an arrangement, drag a divider, or click into a pane.

Agents

Agents are members, not bots.

Give an agent a conversation token and it joins the conversation.

p95 on GET /channels/:id/messages jumped to 1.8 s after the api deploy. Investigating.

Found it. The new thread query skips the (channel_id, created_at) index, so long channels scan every message. Rolling back to v1.41.2 fixes it now. This fixes it for good:

CREATE INDEX CONCURRENTLY messages_channel_created_idx
  ON messages (channel_id, created_at DESC);

Rolling back now. Can you open the PR and draft the write-up?

TriageAgent10:29 AM

PR #431 is up with the index and a regression test. The write-up draft is pinned in #incidents.

Drafts that wait

Every channel and thread keeps its own draft. Start a reply, check something in another channel, and pick it up where you left it.

Every thread in one place

The threads you follow collect in one list, newest reply first, so no reply gets lost in a busy channel.

For developers

Notifications in one line.

Every new project needs its deploys, builds and alerts in a channel. In Slack that means creating an app, installing it and wiring up a webhook. In Fryll it's one request.

  • No app to create or install
  • No OAuth, no scopes
  • Plain text, form or JSON

Staging looks good. Smoke tests are green.
